Mr. Michael Matt has been the editor of The Remnant since 1990. He is the grandson of the founder of The Wanderer and son of the founder of The Remnant. A graduate of Christendom College, he has written hundreds of articles on the state of the Church and anti-Christian trends in the modern state. He’s also authored several books including Gods of Wasteland (Fifty Years of Rock ‘n’ Roll), and is a co-author of Love in Ruins: Modern Catholics in Search of the Ancient Faith.

He is a faculty member of Roman Forum’s Summer Symposium in Gardone Riviera, Italy, and is US Coordinator for Notre-Dame de Chrétienté where for the last 20 years he has organized the American Chapter on the 3-day Pilgrimage to Chartres, France. He will lead the American chapter to Chartres again in 2012.

Mr. Matt and his wife Carol homeschool their seven children in Scandia, Minnesota.
